What does the system decide, and what does a person still decide?#
The system decides what is repetitive and verifiable: which day suits each flock within what management declared, who does which task, and what deserves to escalate. Still a person's: the health judgement, the commercial relationship, anything that has never happened before, and how much of all this gets delegated.
How is it priced?#
There are two phases. First an operational setup, with defined deliverables, that leaves the operation parameterised. Then a subscription that starts with the first flock and is charged per unit produced.
There is no charge for installed capacity: a cycle you do not run is a cycle you do not pay for. The figure depends on the size of the operation and how many links of the chain it covers, and it is set after getting to know it.
What happens with no signal in the house?#
You record anyway. The form writes to the phone first and the row appears immediately; when the connection comes back, whatever was captured uploads on its own, in order and without duplicates.
The system keeps both times: when the figure was captured in the house and when it reached the server. They are not the same and the gap matters, because a record taken at six in the morning is a six-in-the-morning record even if it arrived at seven in the evening.
Days without a connection are not a problem. Three days in airplane mode are not either.
Who can see my company's data?#
Nobody but your company. The separation does not depend on the application filtering correctly: it is enforced in the database, so a query that does not declare a company returns no rows at all, not even through a programming mistake.
That is two locks rather than one, deliberately. A single filter, in a single place, is one line of code away from turning separation into a leak.
What exactly does the artificial intelligence do?#
A language model writes the reasoning in one line. It chooses nothing.
The decision is already made by the time the model gets involved, and if the text it returns carries a number that was not among the facts it was given, the whole thing is discarded and the template wording goes out. The rest of the system — projecting, filtering, prioritising, spotting the anomalous — is deterministic calculation: the same data under the same policy produces the same decision, every time.
This is deliberate, and it runs against the fashion. A system whose decisions cannot be reproduced cannot be audited, and a decision that cannot be audited cannot be defended to anyone.
Will you integrate it with the integrator's system?#
It is not promised, because it is not within anyone's control here. It gets assessed case by case.
What you get either way, with integration or without it, is your own auditable record to hold against every settlement: your kilos, your birds, your dates and your costs, taken in your house, with the time they were taken.
What if my people do not record?#
That is the most honest objection of all, and it belongs on the table before starting rather than after.
Capture works without signal, which removes the most common excuse. The setup defines what gets measured, by whom, at what hour and to what standard, which removes the second. And the system scores the reliability of what comes in, so a record copied from yesterday shows up as one.
But sustaining it flock after flock is a decision the operation makes, not the software. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not telling you the truth.
Who owns the data?#
The customer. It is not shared with third parties — the integrator included — without written instruction. When the relationship ends it is handed over in full, in an open format, without having to ask twice or pay to get out.
What if I have not loaded a selling price?#
The system switches off whatever depends on it and says so on screen.
A margin objective with no price does not produce an error: it produces a simulation that looks perfectly fine and recommends catching flocks earlier for reasons that do not exist. That is why anything that cannot be derived travels as "this figure is missing" and never as a plausible value.
What if no date satisfies what I declared?#
The system says so and recommends nothing.
That is the uncomfortable answer and it is the correct one. Quietly relaxing the least important constraint in order to produce an answer would mean violating something somebody declared non-negotiable, without telling them. When that happens, the thing to revisit is the policy, not the result.
