Why partners rather than resellers?#
What is needed at this stage is not somebody to sell. It is somebody who knows the ground and is willing to build this with me.
The system decides about another person's operation, and that only goes well if whoever configures it understands how a producer in their region actually works: what gets recorded, what does not, at what hour, to what standard and what hurts. That part is in no manual and I do not have it on my own. Whoever has been walking into poultry houses for years does.
So the proposal is exactly that: grow and learn together. I bring the system and what I know about data; you bring what you know about the producer and the ground.
Who does this usually fit?#
This is not a list of requirements. These are the profiles it tends to fit well, and if yours is not here but it makes sense to you, write anyway.
- Poultry house and controlled-environment builders. They reach the client before the concrete is poured, while layout, density and instrumentation can still be decided well. It is the only window in which those decisions are cheap.
- Poultry equipment suppliers, already in the same technical conversation and familiar with the installation from the inside.
- Consultants and technical advisers with their own client base, already the voice the producer trusts.
- Input distributors, with a relationship that rests on time rather than on one sale.
- Animal scientists, vets and engineers who understand the producer's business and not only the technical side.
What can I offer?#
- The full demonstration of the system, the same one a client sees. No cut-down partner version.
- Support in the technical conversation. I do not leave you alone in front of a data architecture question or an objection about the engine. I join that meeting.
- What I am learning, as it comes: what works in which kind of operation, which objections come up, what goes wrong.
- Early information on what is coming, before it is public.
And what I hope for in return is simple: tell me what you see. A partner who says "this is no use to my client, and here is why" is worth more than one who presents it out of politeness.
And the terms?#
We talk about those when we meet, not on a web page.
That is not evasion: they depend on the size of the operation you bring, how many links of the chain it covers and how much work each of us does. Putting a percentage here would mean inventing a number to make this page look more concrete, and then having to change it in front of you.
What I do promise is that they are agreed in writing and before any proposal reaches a client's desk. Never after.
How do we start?#
Leave your details below with a line about what you do, and I will write to you. No sales deck and no commitment: the first conversation is to see whether this makes sense for both of us, and if it does not, I will say so there and then.
